Best Printables to Sell on Etsy in 2026 (Based on What's Actually Selling)

Not trend predictions. Not wishful thinking. These are the printable categories where real sellers are making real money on Etsy right now.

How I figured out what's selling

I didn't make this list by guessing. I spent a week researching Etsy search data using eRank, studying top-performing shops in the printables category, and cross-referencing with what's selling in my own shop and shops I know.

Every category on this list has multiple sellers doing $500+/month. Some have sellers doing $5,000+. I'm including price ranges, competition levels, and honest assessments of whether it's still worth entering each niche.

Planners and trackers

This is the biggest printable category on Etsy by far. Within it, some sub-niches are oversaturated and others still have room.

Budget planners and financial trackers. Still strong. Search volume is high year-round with a spike in January. My budget planner is my best seller. Average price: $8-15 for a single planner, $18-30 for a bundle. Competition is high, but specific angles still work. "Budget planner for couples" or "debt payoff tracker" face less competition than generic "budget planner."Habit trackers. Growing category, especially since the self-improvement content boom. The 30-day challenge format sells particularly well. Average price: $4-8 for a single tracker, $10-18 for a bundle of multiple trackers. Lower competition than budget planners.Meal planners and grocery lists. Steady demand. Peaks slightly in January (New Year health goals) and September (back to routine after summer). Average price: $5-10. The best sellers combine meal planning with a grocery list template in one product.Fitness and workout trackers. Niche but profitable. Gym log templates, running trackers, weight loss journals. Average price: $6-12. Best when targeted at a specific goal: "Couch to 5K tracker" beats "workout log."

The planner category works because people use them for a few months, then buy a new one or a different variation. Repeat purchases are built into the product lifecycle.

Wall art and home decor prints

The second-biggest printable category. Buyers print these at home or at a local print shop and frame them.

Minimalist typography prints. Quotes, affirmations, single-word designs ("Breathe," "Home," "Grateful"). Extremely competitive. Thousands of sellers. But top sellers still do well because the market is huge. Average price: $3-6 for a single print, $8-15 for a set.Kids' room art. Animals, alphabet charts, space themes, name prints. Strong demand from parents decorating nurseries and playrooms. Average price: $4-8 per print, $12-25 for themed sets. Less competitive than adult wall art because you need to target specific themes.Seasonal and holiday prints. Christmas wall art, Halloween decor, Valentine's prints. Short selling window but high volume during the season. I make about $200 every December from holiday prints I created two years ago. Average price: $3-7 for singles, $10-20 for seasonal bundles.Botanical and nature prints. Evergreen demand (pun intended). Watercolor plants, floral illustrations, landscape art. Average price: $4-9. These attract buyers who want something sophisticated without paying for original art.

Wall art is the most passive printable category. Create once, sell indefinitely. No updates needed. No customer questions about how to use it. Just download and print.

Educational printables

If you have any background in education (or are willing to research it), this niche is lucrative.

Kids' worksheets. Alphabet tracing, math practice, reading comprehension. Parents and homeschoolers buy these constantly. Average price: $3-6 per sheet, $10-25 for full subject bundles. The key is age-specific targeting: "Pre-K letter tracing" not just "alphabet worksheet."Flashcards. Sight words, multiplication tables, vocabulary cards. Print, cut, use. Simple products that sell well. Average price: $4-8 per set. Works best in bundles of 3-5 subjects.Homeschool curriculum supplements. Growing fast. Homeschooling has surged and parents need structured materials. Science activities, history timelines, geography worksheets. Average price: $8-20 depending on how extensive. This is where you can charge more because parents value structured educational content.Teacher classroom decor. Banners, name tags, reward charts, behavior clip charts. Teachers buy these every fall and when they change classroom themes. Average price: $5-12 per set. Search "classroom decor" on Etsy in July-August and watch the sales data.

Organization and household printables

People love organizing their lives with printed checklists and systems.

Cleaning schedules. Weekly, monthly, and seasonal cleaning checklists. Simple to create, steady demand. The "cleaning binder" format (a bundle of 10-15 different cleaning checklists) sells particularly well at $12-18.Home inventory sheets. For insurance purposes or just personal organization. Room-by-room inventory templates. Smaller niche but very low competition. Average price: $5-10.Moving checklists and planners. People who are moving need organization desperately and will pay for it. Moving timeline, box inventory tracker, change of address checklist, packing lists. Average price: $8-15. Seasonal peaks in summer (peak moving season).Pet records and trackers. Vet visit logs, vaccination records, medication trackers, feeding schedules. Pet owners are dedicated buyers. Average price: $5-10. Very low competition compared to the demand.

Wedding and event printables

Weddings are expensive, and couples look for affordable alternatives to professional printing.

Wedding seating charts. Consistently one of the top-selling wedding printables. Editable templates that couples customize with their guest names. Average price: $8-15 for a single template, $20-35 for a complete wedding stationery set.Invitations and save-the-dates. Huge market. Couples buy these instead of ordering from print shops. Average price: $8-12 for a template. The key is offering multiple colorways and customization options.Wedding day timelines and itineraries. A niche within the wedding niche. Smaller market but less competition. Average price: $5-10.Baby shower games and activities. Bingo, word scramble, trivia. Party hosts buy these the week before the event. Average price: $4-8 per game, $12-20 for a bundle of 5-8 games.

What I'd recommend starting with

If you're brand new and picking your first printable niche, here's my honest ranking based on effort-to-revenue ratio:

1. Budget planners. High demand, good price points, buyers come back for variations. Start here. 2. Kids' worksheets. If you have any education background. High volume, repeat buyers. 3. Habit trackers. Quick to create, growing demand, lower competition than planners. 4. Wall art sets. Most passive income potential. Create themed sets of 5-8 prints. 5. Cleaning checklists. Easy to create, steady demand, bundle-friendly.

Avoid starting with wedding printables unless you have design skills. The bar for quality is higher because weddings are personal. And avoid minimalist quote prints unless you have a unique angle because the market is flooded.

The printables market on Etsy isn't saturated. Specific niches within it are. The sellers who do well are the ones who pick a specific audience, create products tailored to that audience, and optimize their listings for the keywords those buyers use. General is dead. Specific is alive and profitable.
